So, this is exciting! It’s my first time being tagged in a Book Tag! Courtesy of BooksInNeed! Thank you so much for tagging me.
So this is the Creatures of the Book Tag. Basically I just choose different books to match the prompt. Got it? K!
Vampire – Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
It took me a long time to get onto this bandwagon, but after seeing the movie in theater, I was 100% into it. It was an interesting twist on the whole vampire thing.
Werewolf – Shiver by Maggie Steifvater
I’ve been wanting to re-read this one for a while. I read it four or so years ago and I remember not being a huge fan of it. I’m wondering if time changed my opinion.
Zombie – Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Maberry
I have a confession.
I never read this book.
I know, I know… what am I doing recommending a book in a Book Tag if I never read it? Well, my husband read it and he absolutely adored it! I married a gamer who had me nearly convinced he was allergic to paper with the way he avoided books, so it has to be good.
And the only zombie book I have ever read in my life is Warm Bodies and it’ll be a cold day in hell with every library burned to the ground before I recommend that to anyone.
Like really…? A zombie love story?
Ghost – The Girl From the Well by Rin Chupeco
You want to read a book that will scare the ever living hell out of you? Read this one. I will never touch this book again. I got rid of it almost right after I read it. Don’t take that as if it was bad, it was absolutely fantastic. I’m just a big baby than can barely watch someone play a scary game and can barely watch Supernatural because it scares me.
Angel – Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
This is one that I really did enjoy. I never got around to finishing the series, but if you like angels and high school and cute boys.. read this one.
Witches/Warlocks – Harry Potter series by JK Rowling
I’m not a huge magic fan, so I’m just going to combine witches and warlocks and put Harry Potter. If you don’t at least know what Harry Potter, I applaud your hermitting skills.
Fae – A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
This series. A Beauty and the Beast retelling + a Hades and Persephone retelling + Fae and a badass heroine? Is there really a better series? This whole series is amazing and everyone should read it.
A little warning I like to give everyone: This book is classified and shelved as YA. It is New Adult, there is explicit sex scenes. Don’t worry, it’s no Fifty Shades, but it should not be Young Adult.
Demon – White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Okay, so I actually completely forgot that this was a demon book until I was looking through my Goodreads list. There’s demons and gargoyles and YA romance goodness. 10 outta 10, would recommend!
Aliens – Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Second JLA book in a row. I’m sorry, but this is by far my favorite alien book. It’s got action, a hate-to-love romance and snarky, sarcastic dialogue. The first time I read this book, I absolutely devoured it in one sitting and I’ve read it (and the whole series) multiple times.
Super-Powered Human – Tiger’s Curse by Colleen Houck
Of course I was going to find a way to get my all time favorite series into a book tag! It just works so well! The brothers are cursed, so they can shape-shift into Tiger’s. They all possess an amulet that gives them a bunch of different powers and special items that allow them to do a bunch of crazy stuff. Yeah, definitely super-powered humans.

So since I’m kind of new to blogging, I haven’t made any book blogging friends. If you read this and you want to do the tag, I tag you!
Until next time,
YOU DID AMAZING ON THE TAG!!!! There are so many books on here that I want to read, like Shiver and Obsidian, but the had to get a book ban. NOOOOOO! But your answers are absolutely AMAZING, and I think my TBR is growing by the second!

Jennifer Armentrout is a beast when it comes to novel writing. Her books give me life!
You’re stronger than I am doing a book ban! Lol
