Blogmas Day 2: Christmas Movies

Every year there are always certain movies I watch to get me into that holiday spirit. There’s nothing better than curling up in a thick blanket with the lights off and the Christmas tree on and watching funny and heartwarming movies surrounding my favorite holiday. Here are five of my most favorite Christmas movies.

5. A Christmas Story

I’m sure everyone has watched this movie at one point or another. It was released in 1983, but it’s still one of my go-to movies every year.

4. Miracle on 34th Street

I’m pretty sure the only reason why we ever ended up watching this movie when I was growing up is because the same actress that played the little girl, played Matilda. But I remember this one always being one of my favorites.

3. Blizzard

This one has always been one of my favorite. Whoopi Goldberg was always hilarious in kids movies and this one was no different.

2. The Santa Claus (1-3)

These 3 movies sometimes get mixed reviews, but I’ve always adored them. The idea of someone taking over as Santa and ‘learning’ how to be Santa is one of the most awesome things ever. Of course, as a kid, I also loved this because it explained the question everyone always asked: “How does Santa get all the presents to every child in the world?”

1.How the Grinch Stole Christmas

This is the movie I look forward to watching every year. You have Cindy Lou Who being adorable, her entire family being clueless and The Grinch being basically… well, me.

Well, you get the point. I love this movie.

What are your favorite Christmas movies? Any I should check out to boost my holiday cheer?

Until next time,

It’s a great movie. I always loved the cartoon but the live action made it even better!
