Book Recommendations: Retellings

I decided that once a month, I am going to recommend some books from my favorite genres. Hopefully I can keep this going for all of 2018, but we’ll see LOL

I love retellings of well loved stories! My favorites are of fairytales. Anything that has any mention of Beauty and the Beast is something that I am all over faster than anything. Here’s some of my favorite retellings.

This is a book I stumbled on a few years ago when I blogged the first time. It’s a retelling of the Edgar Allen Poe poem Annabel Lee. I was never much into poetry when I was in school, but I was immediately intrigued when I read the synopsis. It’s amazing!

The Splintered series is an amazing Alice in Wonderland retelling. The way A.G. Howard weaves the story is perfect. It’s a very dark retelling, but still YA and I loved it. #TeamMorpheus because omfg he’s amazing

It’s pretty easy to judge by the cover and title that this is a Cinderella retelling. It’s a modern retelling that incorporates nerd culture and makes it even more addicting than the Disney fairytales.

I’m pretty sure that everyone has read ACOTAR, but just in case you haven’t, this is a top notch Beauty and the Beast retelling that also has Fae and magic. Plus it’s steamy as hell and just straight up amazing!

I hope you guys enjoyed this recommendation post 🙂 Any retelling books that I should check out? Please let me know!

Until next time,
