To-Be-Read|Tough Book Challenge

I thought I would just jot down a quick TBR for the rest of the year for my Tough Book Challenge. And while I was writing it, I figured I would share it.

March: Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning
April: Bitten by Kelley Armstrong
May: Ignite by Lily Paradise
June: How I Found You by Gabriella Lapore
July: #Nerd by Cambria Hebert
August: Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
September: Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
October: The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black
November: The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han
December:Ā Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

Well. There it is.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? Let me know šŸ™‚

Until next time,

giphy

I’m kind of looking forward to reading it. But Colleen Hoover has always been kind of hit or miss for me. I absolutely adored It Ends With Us, but there’s been a couple other of her books that just didn’t quite sit right.

I’m hoping Hopeless is going to be one I love.

  2. I liked a lot Darkfever and Bitten, so I hope you would enjoy them too! And I’ve read Snow like Ashes too, it wasn’t bad at all!

  3. I have read snow like ashes before. It was really good not omg I could read this forever but it was a great read. I have also read Shadow and Bone and the characters in this book are well devolved. It is a little slow at times but worth the read. The second book is my favorite of the series.

Good to know! Both have been on my TBR for at least 2 years. I’m looking forward to it!

  4. The only one on your list I’ve read is Shadow and Bone. I enjoyed it. Not as much as Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom though. I feel I should have read The Grisha Trilogy first, because her writing improved a lot between the two series, IMO. I’d really like to try some Colleen Hoover. For whatever reason, I forget to look her up when I’m ready for a new read. *shrugs* Enjoy your list! Looks like a good one!

Thank You! Hopefully I like some if not most of them.

Colleen Hoover is really hit or miss for me, so I’m hoping Hopeless will be good.

      1. Can’t wait to hear what you think of it. What book of hers would you suggest I start with?

The only one that I really really loved was It Ends With Us. It’s kind of heartbreaking, but it’s amazing at the same time. It deals with domestic violence, so go in expecting that. It’s sad af, but so good.
