12474623

A tiger left behind.

A goddess in need of an ally.

Stranded in a time and place he never wished for, Kishan Rajaram must carry out his destiny of assisting the beautiful yet extremely irritable goddess Durga. This daunting task is not made easy by the fact that he must also face the truth about the girl he loves and the brother who stole her away.

When the wily shaman Phet appears and tells Kishan that Kelsey needs him, he jumps at the chance to see her again. In his efforts to save her, Kishan discovers that the curse he thought was over is just beginning. As time unravels around him, Kishan realizes that the fates of all those he holds dear lie in hands.

The goddess’s power hangs in the balance. Kishan has no choice but to sacrifice the unthinkable to fight the dark forces swirling around the woman he’s charged to protect. As he does, he discovers that love and loyalty create their own magic and accepts that he must decide his destiny once and for all.

Tiger’s Dream is the conclusion to the epic Tiger’s Curse fantasy romance series that left you breathless.

Oh guys.

My heart can’t take this being the end.

I’m just going to start listing off this I love about this and try not to be too spoilery.

  • It’s written from Kishan’s perspective
  • Anamika is a bad-ass
  • Fanindra
  • HE’S BACK ❤
  • Everything

Things I disliked:

  • It’s over

I was so nervous about reading this book. To be perfectly honest, I felt like Destiny ended perfectly. Tiger’s Dream has me stuck between it being everything I ever wanted and being completely unnecessary. But even though it’s technically unnecessary, it’s still everything I ever wanted in a story.

Let’s start from the beginning. I loved being in Kishan’s head. I love that a huge part of this story was him coming to terms with his feelings for Kelsey and his understanding that she wasn’t the girl for him. (Ren+Kelsey=OTP imho) I loved that we are able to get into his head and really understand him on a different level. He’s so polar opposite of his brother. His character development was so profound in this book and I really do love him more.

So Anamika. Holy Hannah I loved her character. She’s smart, sassy, strong and unlike any heroine I’ve ever read about. I mean… she’s a goddess, so that definitely has a huge influence on her character.

The parts about her past broke me. So this novel is classified as YA/NA, but this is not because of cute little college level sex scenes! Before you read this, know that for sure. There is some pretty heavy, heartbreaking material in this novel that you should probably know in advance. Just because I think people should be a little forewarned about what they’re reading, this novel deals with childhood sexual assault and other gross, disgusting, gut-wrenching things.

Even though it’s hard to read, I think it was dealt with in a pretty healthy way. Kishan respected the HELL out of Anamika’s boundaries and he made sure she was okay with anything he was doing.

SO! Time-travel. I HATE time-travel novels. I will do anything possible to avoid books that have anything remotely to do with any sort of time-travel. BUT, because I love this story so much, going ‘back in time’ to see the events take place from a different perspective is not something I minded at all. If it’s been a while since you’ve read the full saga, don’t worry about it at all, you get a good recap.

But don’t get me wrong, it is not repetitive or boring or anything. There is SOOO much more added to the story that adds so much to it.

This book is big. Like… 806 pages big. But I promise you, it doesn’t feel long enough. I did everything in my power to read this as slow as possible but I wanted to do nothing other than read this.

Also… there’s a particular character who reappears and I SOBBED. Not even lying.

My heart hurts, but I’m so happy I was able to read this. That ending was THE most perfect thing I have ever read in my life. Every question you ever had about the Tiger’s Saga is answered in this book. Read it. If you loved the series, you need to read this. If you haven’t read this series, getting to this book is the absolutely perfect reason to binge read this series.

5 Stars

I just can’t right now. Everything is amazing. And I’m happy. And crying. And so relieved that I loved this.

And I really want to reread all of these books again.

  1. ” Tiger’s Dream has me stuck between it being everything I ever wanted and being completely unnecessary. ”

I feel you! I felt the exact same way! and honestly, although I loved it, loved revisiting everything and everyone… it just broke my heart all over again. I thought I was over, but now this just opened the little hole of non-kisha-ren-ness….
