Following the grief and horror of her discovery of Jack the Ripper’s true identity, Audrey Rose Wadsworth has no choice but to flee London and its memories. Together with the arrogant yet charming Thomas Cresswell, she journeys to the dark heart of Romania, home to one of Europe’s best schools of forensic medicine…and to another notorious killer, Vlad the Impaler, whose thirst for blood became legend.
But her life’s dream is soon tainted by blood-soaked discoveries in the halls of the school’s forbidding castle, and Audrey Rose is compelled to investigate the strangely familiar murders. What she finds brings all her terrifying fears to life once again.
He grinned at my ensemble and rubbed his hands together, mischief sparking like fireworks around him. “You’re dressed for sneaking about Dracula’s castle. Be still my thawing, dark heart. You certainly know how to make a young man feel alive, Wadsworth.”

Conclusion:
Holy actual hell. If you thought Stalking Jack the Ripper was a ride then hold on to your lace gloves and corsets, everyone, because Hunting Prince Dracula is going to leave you breathless.
I am in complete awe at this book. I didn’t think the author could actually go anywhere from Stalking Jack the Ripper. I was expecting this to be just as good, but it was absolutely better. This author is definitely one I’m going to be keeping an eye out on. Her writing is fantastic. She’s able to keep the realistic word choice that someone in the 19th century would use, but not make it boring and nearly impossible to decipher at some parts.
I have never been one to enjoy anything written in an old fashion way, which makes reading historical fiction not enjoyable whatsoever.
Thomas and Audrey Rose are nearing the top of one of my favorite couples of all time. They are actually perfect together. But the novel doesn’t focus completely on romance. There’s just enough in the for a romance addict like me to be completely captivated and enthralled.
Seriously, if you read the first one, don’t hesitate to pick up this novel. You won’t regret it whatsoever. Every character actually felt real to me. There were mostly new characters introduced and it felt as if they were with you from the very start of the first novel. It’s action packed, suspenseful, completely intriguing and I actually couldn’t put it down. (I should also mention that it’s four in the morning and I was supposed to be in bed over an hour ago. Shhh)

Here:
Dearest Cousin, Allow me to be quite frank. Since I’ve read every novel by the immeasurably talented Jane Austen, and because I am three months older than you, I obviously have a vast amount more romantic knowledge. I don’t fancy myself a poet, but I have been flirting (quite shamelessly, I daresay) with an intriguing young magician—and escape artist—who performs with a traveling circus, and, well… I shall tell you all about that another time.
