We’ve all been there.
One minute, you’re sprawled out on your bed, minding our own business and the next you’re lying in the back seat of your best friend’s car as she races you to the ER.
And not the closest one either.
No. You’re headed to the one fifty miles farther out, because the one five minutes away is where you start your residency next week.
So there you are, lying in cubicle nine, hoping like hell that the doctor about to examine you isn’t young, sexy or male.
Of course he’s all three.
Telling him about the clitmaster7000 I have lodged inside me is by far the single most embarrassing moment of my life.
Discovering he’s my brother’s new roommate is even worse.

Conclusion:
So here’s the thing… this book started off good. It was cringey and Laura got herself into a pretty awkward situation after purchasing a sex toy using a gift card her friend gave her. Oh and then her brother brought her over and turns out the hot doctor that helped her out of her precarious situation is his friend and roommate. Oh, and then it turns out that doctor is going to be starting work at the same hospital she is. Awkward. Oh, and then for some reason the doctor has to move out and stay with her.. how strange.
And then the doctor has a random person that comes in and says he has a kid from eight years ago,
Yeah.. I’m done. This is no longer funny, this is no longer a good story. Literally all this author did was shove a bunch of random tropes together to try to make this novel as weird and awkward as possible.
I’m just going to step back from the random adult contemporary novels for a bit. This one kind of sucked.
I know it’s all fiction, of course it’s unrealistic, but come on. This was pushing it.

I really liked the honesty in your review 💕💕💕 it’s refreshing in a way to see this – I’m almost always too afraid to give anything under 3 stars for some reason so I loved seeing this review and you speaking your mind. 😊💕

Plus.. i have 100% read books because of negative reviews lol

Hahahah how true is that lol 😂 I usually go to Goodreads and look at reviews and it’s almost always the bad reviews that convince me to read the book lol 😂 because I just have to see how bad it really is for myself – yup I have problems, and I’ve made peace with this lol 😂
