Happy end of the month, Book Worms!
This month has been unbelievably crazy for me. Between getting ready to foster and trying to complete all my book challenges, yeah, I overextended myself just a little bit. If you missed my cat foster posts check them out here and here. I’m so happy I’m doing this and can’t wait to keep you all updated 🙂
So I’m starting my May off with a nice social media/blogging break. It’s currently April 27th when I’m writing this, so I at least don’t miss my regular posts. I will respond to all comments and tweets when I come back.
I’m excited to unplug for a little bit and just take a breather. The last 8-9 months that I’ve been blogging have been absolutely amazing, but with working full time, reading, blogging, interacting with people and now fostering.. your girl is tired. The response on Twitter to this news has been amazing and super supportive, and I hope it’ll be the same here. Hang tight, you’ll only miss snarky book reviews for about 4 days.
Might I suggest checking out Fiction No Chaser, Books in the Skye, For The Love of Books, and Happy Reading Co. in my absence. Those are some awesome ladies right there 🙂
Now onto the books I read this month. I barely stuck to my TBR, as per usual, but ah well 🙂

Six books is amazing!
I personally much prefer ACOTAR to ToG. I gave up on reading ToG a while ago!
Good luck! I hope you love them!

You had a great reading month! I can’t wait to get to The Cruel Prince, but the waiting continues as the people ahead of me at the library and taking foreverrrr!
My two favourite books I read were The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter and Trainwreck by Sady Doyle.

That would drive me insane having to wait for people to finish the book lol
I hope you get it soon!

You read so much! I wish I could get through more than 2 a month, but that seems to be my limit. I reread A Court of Mist and Fury in April, still love it. Actually, loved it more than the first time xD And I read Dreamer’s Pool which was amazing!

I looked up the Goodreads page and Dreamer’s Pool sounds absolutely amazing! Definitely adding that to my TBR.
The only reason I read that much is because I literally have no life. I read and work.. that’s it xD

I’ve fallen in love with Juilet Marillier. I read Cybele’s Secret (which is book 2 of her Wildwood series, but can be read out of order. Also, most people agree it’s better than the first lol) last year and her writing and characters, OMG Stoyan *swoon*, blew me away. I didn’t hesitate to pick Dreamer’s Pool up at the library. I’m going back for more!
