Conclusion:

This is basically my favorite book of this series. Rhysand starts off as kind of a dick, but then the more you read, the more you understand his point of view and went he went through and it makes you love him more and more as the series goes on.

Whenever there’s a love triangle, I always tend to go for the first love interest introduced, but all this novel ended up doing was making me dislike the hell out of Tamlin. He’s an ass. He’s possessive and controlling of Feyre and basically just expects her to sit pretty all day. Fuck that. She worked way too hard for her sisters before going to the Spring Court to sit pretty in a castle all day.

At least Rhysand actually let’s her do something.

Speaking of Rhysand and doing things. I love enemies to lovers romances but OMG half the novel was me thinking “holy fuck, kiss already”. Talk about drawn out sexual tension. It was the most frustrating and the best thing about the novel. This novel is classified as YA/NA… I’m going to be completely blunt when I said that the sex is way to descriptive to be classified as YA. I have no issue with sex in YA, but this is not it.

I also loved watching Feyre discover all her powers. And then turn into this complete bad ass once she started getting a hang of them.

Also, I forgot about that cliff hanger.

Time to try to distract myself with other books until I can start the third one.
