The de Vincent brothers are back—and so is the intrigue that surrounds them—in New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s sizzling new novel…
Nicolette Bresson never thought she’d return to the de Vincents’ bayou compound. It’s where her parents work, where Nikki grew up… and where she got her heart broken by Gabriel de Vincent himself. Yet here she is, filling in for her sick mother. Avoiding Gabe should be easy, especially when so much of Nikki’s time is spent trying not to be stabbed in the back by the malicious hangers-on who frequent the mansion. But escaping memories of Gabe, much less his smoking-hot presence, is harder than expected—especially since he seems determined to be in Nikki’s space as much as possible.
Gabriel spent years beating himself up over his last encounter with Nikki. He’d wanted her then, but for reasons that were bad for both of them. Things have now changed. Gabe sees more than a girl he’s known forever; he sees a smart, talented, and heartbreakingly beautiful woman… one who’s being stalked from the shadows. Now, Gabe will do anything to keep Nikki safe—and to stop the de Vincent curse from striking again.
“And if you don’t love me anymore, I’m going to spend however long it takes making you fall in love with me again. And I have a lot of time on my hands.”

Conclusion:
So I thought Lucian was the sweet de Vincent. Well… I was wrong. Fucking Gabriel! Ughhh, I loved him so much. Him and Nikki have that perfect history that makes the drama just oh, so perfect. I was so sad for it to end.
Even though they definitely needed some semblance of happiness.
It’s like every time Jen puts out a novel, I think… okay, this is the best.. this is where it peaks. I’m wrong. Every single novel is better than the last one. The woman’s a fucking genius with love stories. I ship Gabe and Nikki so fucking hard. I love them both so much.
I never know where Jen is going to take her novels, and I’m always pleasantly surprised to find out. I love how this novel basically continued right after Moonlight Sins and you were able to see how Lucian and Julia were doing. See how they were dealing with the aftermath of everything that happened in Moonlight Sins.
I’m going to cut off this review before I just continue to ramble. This is amazing and I loved it and you need to read it.
When it releases.
Because somehow I was blessed with being able to get this novel early.
I’m dying.

I cannot wait to start this. I was tempted to start reading it as soon as the arc came in, but I want to hold off since I’m sure Moonlight Seduction is just as good if not better than the first.
