Since she’d been on the outside, she’d survived an Aether storm, she’d had a knife held to her throat, and she’d seen men murdered.
This was worse.
Exiled from her home, the enclosed city of Reverie, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland–known as The Death Shop–are slim. If the cannibals don’t get her, the violent, electrified energy storms will. She’s been taught that the very air she breathes can kill her. Then Aria meets an Outsider named Perry. He’s wild–a savage–and her only hope of staying alive.
A hunter for his tribe in a merciless landscape, Perry views Aria as sheltered and fragile–everything he would expect from a Dweller. But he needs Aria’s help too; she alone holds the key to his redemption. Opposites in nearly every way, Aria and Perry must accept each other to survive. Their unlikely alliance forges a bond that will
determine the fate of all who live under the never sky.

Have you ever read a book by this author before?
No.
Genre?
Young Adult Dystopian Romance
Star Rating?
Rereadable?
Yes. So much yes.
If it’s a series, would you continue reading it?
I just finished this one today (08/22), I’ll be lucky if I get through the rest of the night without starting Book Two. Let’s be honest… I’ll be starting book two.
Who would you recommend this for?
This is another series that I am hella behind in the times reading. So, if you haven’t read this.. read it. Especially if you love Octavia and Lincoln from The 100.
Conclusion:
I am so freaking happy that Skye randomly picked up this book. She gushed about it so much that I just had to give it a try. And I am so happy I did.
Aria and Perry are literally OTP. I loved their relationship. It was exactly what I needed after watching The 100 because they gave me serious Octavia and Lincoln vibes. This book/romance is like if Octavia was from Mount Weather.
How amazing is that?
I can’t even right now.
So beyond the most amazing romance I have read in a YA book in a long as time, this book was just completely amazing. This author’s writing is fantastic, her world building is top notch and her character development… ugh.. give me more.
I’m completely and utterly in love with this romance and world and I need more immediately.
This is definitely a gem in my tbr that I seriously wasn’t expecting.
Until next time,
Bree
I LOVE THIS BOOK!! Aria and Perry are my favorite, too!!!

I’ve seen this book around for awhile and heard it’s super addicting. I’m not usually a fan of YA romance, so would you recommend it to people who don’t usually read YA romance?

To me, the romance is a huge part of it. However, its really a side story of a much bigger and amazing world.
The main focus is really the dystopian aspect of it, so if you like post-apocalyptic, the world is completely different than it is now, I would recommend it for sure.
And it is extremely addicting. Lol
It’s free on scribd, so if you use that, it would definitely be worth your time to try it.
It’s also not like most YA romances. It’s not super angsty.

Ouuuuu! I haven’t read a post-apocalyptic novel in awhile. I think I may have to add this one to the TBR. Thanks!
