Here’s a few quick romances that I read this weekend ❤
She hired him to take her virginity…but now she wants even more.
Lori might be a popular romance writer, but she’s never been anything but a flop with sex and love in her personal life. Still a virgin at twenty-six and increasingly frustrated by her inexperience, she decides to take matters into her own hands. She hires a talented, sexy male escort to take care of her inconvenient virginity.
She assumes one time with Ander will be enough, but she never dreams how much pleasure he can make her feel. Once isn’t nearly enough. Twice isn’t enough either. Soon, she becomes one of his regular clients.
Lori knows that nothing would be as foolish as falling in love with her paid escort, but she’s never been wise with her heart. And, despite his professionalism, he doesn’t seem entirely immune either
If you’re looking for a quick read, I’d definitely recommend this one. The romance is very smooth, you can really see the relationship building between the two main characters.
However, if you don’t like a lot if smut in your romance novels, don’t read this. Literally every chapter is a detailed sex scene. But well written ones.
The writing was amazing and I’m definitely looking forward to reading more of the authors work.
Love is a risk.
Roman wasn’t willing to take those odds, until now.
A beautiful stranger overheard telling the desk clerk she’s on her honeymoon alone, arouses something in him. Something primal. Something protective. He finds himself doing and saying things he swore he never would again in an effort to understand the pain in Aria’s sensual eyes.
His scars are so deep, they may never heal.
His need for control is ingrained.
His desire for her is unparalleled.
The challenge of winning her may be the biggest risk of all.
Insta love of all Insta-loves right here. Honestly, its not realistic at all. Roman has a ridiculous short temper and throws a fit whenever Aria does anything he mildly disagrees with and Aria literally brushes it off as him being ‘protective’. There’s a difference between protective and controlling, and Roman shows himself as being a controlling brute.
And on top of all that, he falls in love with her because she looks like his dead wife and he stalks her for 6 years. *shudders* how is that romantic? It’s creepy AF. If the guy wasn’t a millionaire, this would be a horror novel.
First comes love.
Then comes marriage.
Then comes a—
Hold up. You’re joking right? As if life works off a neat little list like that, moving down, checking things off before jumping to the next task. We’re not married. We’re not lovers. Hell, we’re hardly even friends. Noah Wilson isn’t exactly “life partner” material, and he sure as hell isn’t “father material”. He’s my older brother’s best friend, and has been off limits, sworn off, locked in the highest tower and out of reach since we met over ten years ago. With his devilish good looks, tattoos, motorcycle, and trail of broken hearts and tears, I’ve had good reason to stay away from the bad boy my mother warned me about.
Until one night. One stupid, regrettable night that changed both of our lives forever. And now I only have nine months to decide our fate, to see if Noah’s rebel heart is capable of anything more than a one night stand.
This isn’t a love story. This is a life story. And life doesn’t go according to plan
I definitely have a soft spot for bad boy love interests. Pair that with a brother’s best friend romance and yeah, I’m kind of hooked.
This book was super cute, but definitely a lot darker than I was expecting for such a quick read. There was a lot of discussion about alcoholism and absentee parents which I didn’t really think would happen.
But this book was cute. Like super cute. And steamy. And well written. I’m actually considering reading through the standalone series.
Until next time!
