Conclusion:

To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement.

I was completely looking forward to this novel. I was expecting it to be just as captivating and fascinating as the first two novels, spoiler: it wasn’t.

This book took me way longer to read because I was just so utterly bored. Maybe it was just the mood I was in, because I was mildly in a reading slump, but I did not like this as much.

The main reason was Audrey. She hella got on my nerves throughout this entire novel. Not to mention basically cheating on Thomas. Don’t hurt sweet Thomas. Heartless. Ugh. Between the cheating and refusing to be honest with her boyfriend, I was done with her shit at 40% of the novel. Falling back into the ‘total misunderstanding, the drama happens because we’re not honest with each other’ is annoying. I absolutely hate that plot point.

The story itself was okay. Boring, but at least I didn’t guess who the murderer was super early in the book. So at least the plot was on point that way.

Ugh, just yeah… I am sorely disappointed in this book.

I’m going to go sulk.

Yeah. The first two make it worth it. If you’re interested in true crime type things, I wouldn’t disregard the first two books!
