🎄Merry Christmas Review! Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling

Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope you have a safe, cozy Christmas and get all the amazing books ❤ My Christmas is going to consist of playing a video game with my husband and then having dinner at my grandmothers. It’s sure to be an amazing time

Stick around, Blogmas has been extended until December 30th. Since I missed 5 days when my laptop crashed on me. So we’re not done yet!

Much love Xo

Harry Potter 3Harry Potter’s third year at Hogwarts is full of new dangers. A convicted murderer, Sirius Black, has broken out of Azkaban prison, and it seems he’s after Harry. Now Hogwarts is being patrolled by the dementors, the Azkaban guards who are hunting Sirius. But Harry can’t imagine that Sirius or, for that matter, the evil Lord Voldemort could be more frightening than the dementors themselves, who have the terrible power to fill anyone they come across with aching loneliness and despair. Meanwhile, life continues as usual at Hogwarts. A top-of-the-line broom takes Harry’s success at Quidditch, the sport of the Wizarding world, to new heights. A cute fourth-year student catches his eye. And he becomes close with the new Defense of the Dark Arts teacher, who was a childhood friend of his father. Yet despite the relative safety of life at Hogwarts and the best efforts of the dementors, the threat of Sirius Black grows ever closer. But if Harry has learned anything from his education in wizardry, it is that things are often not what they seem. Tragic revelations, heartwarming surprises, and high-stakes magical adventures await the boy wizard in this funny and poignant third installment of the beloved series.

I completely forgot how much I absolutely adore the third Harry Potter. The book, the movie, it doesn’t even matter to me. The entire story is just the absolute bomb.

I love how J.K Rowling was able to make everything surrounding Sirius sound so negative, yet, he is one of the most amazing characters ever. Even though… well, the 5th book happens and then my heart is broken into a million tiny pieces.

At least in this one Harry hasn’t gotten all angsty yet. I know it’s coming… but I dread it everytime. Also, Lupin is the bomb . com. Love him.

Also… am I the only one that keeps thinking that everyone’s crazy to hate Care of Magical Creatures. Okay, one… Hagrid is the best. Two, wouldn’t it be absolutely freaking fascinating to learn about all these amazing creatures?

Who wants to pet a Hippogriff.. uhh.. me!?🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

I’m so happy I decided to reread these. There’s nothing better than spending Christmas Eve and parts of Christmas immersed in Harry Potter. Between reading all the books and mostly likely watching most of the movies, this is going to be great!

Of course this is a five star read ❤

Until next time,

Bree
