Lightning Review 2|Wendy Higgins

Four-ish years ago, I read Sweet Evil.

I liked it, but it kind of fell flat of what I was looking for at the time. I always meant to pick it up again but was being lazy and didn’t want to commit to a full series.

Well, I decided to give it another try and holy demons everywhere I was fkn hooked.

I devoured the entire trilogy and the companion in like… 4 days. It was amazing!

Anna and Kaidan are freaking OTP.

This series is steamy and imaginative and seriously will hook you completely.

It reminds me a lot of JLAs Dark Elements series (Roth😍) but it holds it own when it comes to demon novels.

5 Stars

See Me

This standalone novel is actually a reread for me. I read this at least 4 years ago and adored it. This time was no different.

It follows a girl who was promised to be the bride of a Leprechaun. Yeah… it sounds a little weird, but it’s honestly amazing.

The romance is so cute and sweet. They really do match once Robyn and McKale get to know each other and it’s seriously great.

The only thing that bothers me about this is it what supposed to be a duology but for some reason, the author never published the second novel. I’m really bummed out because I would love to read more in this world.

5 Stars

I’m going to be starting Wendy Higgins’ Unknown series and I’m curious how her Adult genre stands up to her YA.

Until next time,

Bree
