I’ve said this before but I am a big baby when it comes to scary stuff. Like, cannot even watch the Bloody Mary episode of Supernatural without shrinking in my seat. And that was filmed in like.. 2005.
So when I read creepy novels, they’re not so much scary, but books that make you feel uneasy. Here are some novels that made me extremely uncomfortable for… well, at least the rest of the day.
If you’re looking for anything creepy but not horror, definitely go for these.
Warning for Pretty Little Dolls… it’s extremely graphic and very very disturbing. Read with caution.

I’m not sure which of these would be in your comfort zone because I’ve got a pretty high scare/gore tolerance, but here are a few horror-ish books I’ve read over the past few years that I think you might like.

4. Horrorstor by Grady Hendrix
5. I’m Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid
I haven’t read any of the books on this list but I want to read ‘You’ and ‘Baby Teeth!” 🙂
