The Queen by Jennifer L. Armentrout ARC Review

The King must have his Queen….

Bestowed the forbidden Summer’s Kiss by the King of the Summer fae, Brighton Jussier is no longer just human. What she is, what she will become, no one knows for sure, but that isn’t her biggest concern at the moment. Now Caden, the King, refuses to let her go, even at the cost of his Court. When the doorway to the Otherworld is breached, both Brighton and Caden must do the unthinkable—not just to survive themselves, but also to save mankind from the evil that threatens the world.

I couldn’t have pictured a better ending for this spin off or this world.

Caden and Brighton are just… absolutely amazing together.

I’m going to miss this world… miss Tink and Ivy and Ren and Fabian. I could read countless more novellas about all of them, but the ending was still as satisfying and amazing as I expected from Jen.

The epilogue in Caden’s perspective was a nice touch that I think rounded everything out nicely. I love reading from the male POV and I don’t think theyll ever change.

Now to convince her to write a Tink novella so we know what goes on in his crazy little brain<3

I guess I’ll just suffer without these amazing characters until Covid is over and the filming for Wicked can start again!

Until next time,

Bree
